What does “subconscious” mean?
We’ve all heard about the subconscious mind and maybe even have developed some sort of vague picture of what it is… usually in the form of an iceberg looming underwater.
In a previous post, we began to explore what the mind is with the intent to unravel myths about the mind’s complexity.
Now, we’re going to take a look at the subconscious mind and see it for what it is and what we can do about it.
The subconscious mind is simply a collection of thoughts and programs that we put in and subsequently forgot that we put those thoughts in there.
It’s not some big dark mysterious place.
In fact, every one of those thoughts are super-easy to access. But we’ll get to that in a moment.
First, take a moment to consider that the mind is something that you set up. The more you release, the more you see — first-hand — that you created this thing called the mind.
The mind was created to serve you — to make things easy and automatic, so that you don’t have to actively monitor everything that goes on in your life. The mind runs all of your body’s biorhythmics so you don’t have to make sure that your heart keeps pumping.
Somewhere along the line, we forgot that we programmed this whole thing and that we created it to serve us. So… we end up pouring all sorts of garbage in there and that garbage runs endlessly with no discrimination.
The mind is supposed to be our servant.
Imagine hiring a maid to clean your house. She comes over, hands you the mop, tells you to clean it, and after you’re done tells you that you owe her $200.
That’s the situation that we’ve put ourselves in by turning our power over to the mind.
The good news is that we now have a tool to unravel this situation and regain our mastery.
So how do we unravel what’s in the subconscious?
Like I said, it’s super-easy…
There are two aspects of the Release Technique courses.
The first aspect is all of the releasing tools that enable you to let go of the negativity.
Not only do you have the tools, but you also have the means to employ those tools to actively knock out the subconscious negativity.
How easy is it to call up what’s in the subconscious?
Well, what if I asked you right now what you had for breakfast two days ago… That information is not something that actively on your mind until I get you to start looking, then you suddenly see, “Oh yeah, I had…”
Let me tell you (and those of you who know and use the exercises in the Abundance Course know what I’m talking about) that every single thing that you have running in the subconscious is just as easy to access.
To those of you who know how to release, don’t just use the tools as means to feel good if you get bothered. Go do the exercises. Dig up the garbage that’s buried in the mind.
It’s easy… and it’s fun. When you get in the habit of doing the exercises on a regular basis, that’s when you experience the momentum of big shifts happening in your life.
